our History


Founded in 2001 after many years in telecommunications, founder Derek Corcoran built Sentient around robust secure B2B enterprise solutions. An early adopter of the SaaS business model, Sentient started life as a hosted IVR service platform using a transaction based revenue model. New products and solutions emerged driven by innovative problem solving and listening to customer challenges.

Sentient is now the holding company for Scorebuddy Limited and Flightbuddy Limited, each product house offers a SaaS platform focused on the specific needs of their respective sectors, customer service and aviation.

Scorebuddy was voted ‘Best New Technology 2018’ by the industry website Call Center Helper.
