Founded in 2001 after many years in telecommunications, founder Derek Corcoran built Sentient around robust secure B2B enterprise solutions. An early adopter of the SaaS business model, Sentient started life as a hosted IVR service platform using a transaction based revenue model. New products and solutions emerged driven by innovative problem solving and listening to customer challenges.

Today, Sentient is the holding company for Scorebuddy, a SaaS platform focused on quality management for contact centers and customer service teams. Scorebuddy is recognized as a leader in contact center quality assurance by independent research firm G2—an authority in software reviews and comparison.
