About Us

Overview
Sentient is a private company founded in 2001, with many years experience in the contact centre sector, Sentient set out to develop a centre of excellence for the delivery of phone self-service. In 2005 Sentient invested in the automated services platform and delivered it's first hosted service to automatically collect customer preferences in response to a direct marketing initiative by PermanentTSB. Over the following years Sentient has expanded the number of services available, click on any of the links on the left for more information on our services.
Management Team
Derek Corcoran, Managing Director, having worked with Eircom, AT&T and Lucent Technologies Derek founded Sentient based on a belief that there was a better way to bring innovative services to enterprise clients. Derek drives the broader business strategy.
        
Dick Bourke, Business Development Director, With many years marketing and sales experience in Ireland and Internationally Dick has worked at senior level with Lake Communications, International Aeradio, Nortel Networks and Clarify. Dick is focused on growing the enterprise business services in Ireland and the UK
        
Brendan Garland, Financial Controller, Brendan has many years experience as a partner in Dublin accounting firm Brady Garland. Having been involved in advising a number of companies both in Ireland and Internationally Brendan provides financial stewardship and advice on a day to day basis as well as board level.
        
John Hogan, Chairman, John is a Chartered Accountant and former Managing Partner with Ernst & Young with many years experience of professional practice, he is on the board of the Irish Payments Services Organisation, (IPSO) and director of C&C Group PLC and several other companies.
Sentient Partners
Sentient work closely with a number of key partners in the provision of services,

Realex is the number one PSP (payments services provider) in Ireland. PCI compliant, Realex have over 3,000 customer across the Ireland and the UK.

Voicesage have integrated their innovative outbound contact solutions with the Sentient Bill Payment service, used primarily for credit management, the contacted customer can select to pay a bill immediately without needing to identify themselves to the IVR as the Voicesage platform will automatically identify the caller to the Sentient IVR system.

NICE Systems the owners of IEX Totalview are partnered with Sentient to deliver their class leading software on a hosted basis for the UK and Ireland.
